The issue of men’s cancer will be brought to the forefront during New York Fashion Week: Men’s at the fourth annual Blue Jacket Fashion Show.
The show, which is scheduled for Feb. 5 at 5:30 at Pier59 Studios, is intended to raise awareness of men’s health issues, with a focus on prostate cancer, which takes the life of a man every 17 minutes.
This year, designers and brands including Thom Browne, Emporio Armani, Brooks Brothers, Stephen Ferber, Nick Graham, Michael Kors, Bruno Magli, Gustavo Moscoso, Ryan Seacrest Distinction and John Varvatos will reimagine the traditional blue blazer. Their designs will be shown on the runway and modeled by Alex Lundqvist, Simon Doonan, Nigel Barker, Dr. Mehmet Oz, CNN’s Don Lemon, ESPN’s Jalen Rose, Power 105’s DJ Envy; Carson Kressley, actors Harry Lennix, Lee Tergenson and Jeremy Carver, and professional athletes Brian Winters and Buster Skrine. The show will be hosted by André Leon Talley.
