Was Deion Sanders referring to Dez Bryant joining Patriots in coming weeks?

Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders made a rather interesting guarantee earlier this week that the New England Patriots would be getting some help in the next few weeks. A rather interesting pair of social media posts from former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant could shed some light on what Sanders was referring to. Will the 31-year-old make his NFL comeback with the Patriots?

Larry David Was Pretty, Pretty Good As Bernie Sanders, But This Comedian Is Even Better

The Internet agreed that “Seinfeld” co-creator and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Larry David did a pretty, pretty good impression of Democratic presidential candidate (and fellow Brooklyn native) Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on “Saturday Night Live.” Even Sanders himself loved it, joking that he’ll invite David to his campaign rallies because “he does better than I do.”

But here’s one that rivals David’s portrayal, from comedian James Adomian, who performed his own Sanders impression last week at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.

Watch Adomian as Sanders in the clip above, participating in a “debate” with Donald Trump, played by comedian Anthony Atamanuik.

And here’s David again, in case you missed it.

Deez Nuts Endorses Bernie Sanders And John Kasich For Presidential Nomination

Deez Nuts, the 15-year-old presidential candidate who has attracted national attention after polling better than some Republicans seeking the White House, tried to exercise some political muscle on Saturday,  endorsing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the Democratic presidential primary and Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) in the Republican presidential primary.

Deez Nuts told In These Times that he endorsed Sanders because “he almost completely agrees on me with social issues and even some on fiscal issues.”

Deez Nuts, whose real name is Brady Olson, clarified that he was endorsing himself in the general election. He cannot constitutionally be president because he is too young but in a recent Public Policy poll, Deez Nuts polled better than several Republican presidential candidates.

No word yet on who will get the endorsement of Sydneys Voluptuous Buttocks, another presidential candidate.

A Look At Bernie Sanders’ Spoken Word Album And Full Discography

We all know that Bernie Sanders recorded a spoken word album. But not a lot of people know that Bernie has a robust catolog of musical work. So I thought it was important to look at all of Bernie Sanders’ albums and see where his spoken word album landed. Also, I’m sure you’ve been in one of those “What’s your favorite Bernie Sanders song?” conversations at a party. Everybody is rattling off hits like “We Shall Overcome” and “The Banks Are Made Of Marble,” and you’re thinking, “Those are the only two I know!” Don’t worry! This should help you out.

“We Shall Overcome” (1987)

The album that put him on the musical map. Just great top to bottom. It speaks to his ability, and we get a sense of exactly who he is and what he’s about. Very rare for a freshman album.

RATING: 4.5/5

BEST TRACKS:

“We Shall Overcome”

”The Banks Are Made Of Marble

“Bernie Sanders Live” (1988)

Bernie LIVE at the Forum. This release was a brilliant move by Bernie to simmer expectation after such a hot start. He decided to record a live album with everybody’s favorite hits while sprinkling in a few new tracks. Also, some of the best mid-song banter OF ALL TIME! Guy took three to six questions from the audience between every song.

RATING: 4/5

BEST TRACKS:

The Top 1% Of Our Countries Wealth Governs The Bottom 45%”

We’re Living In An Oligarchy And Here’s Why!”

“Bernie” (1989)

Bernie’s true sophomore album fulfilled every bit of expectation. Bernie spends every track on this album taking on race relations and shining a light on topics that nobody was talking about at the time. With tunes to make you get up and get down. I mean the hook in “Institutional Racism Is Real And We’ve Done Little To Stop It” makes you want to jump on your bed and scream, “BERNIE BABY!”

RATING: 4/5

BEST TRACKS

Institutional Racism Is Real And We’ve Done Little To Stop It

Minorities Shouldn’t Have To Work Three Jobs To Make Rent

“The Banks Did WHAT?!” (1997)

A change from his usual beat. Bernie’s first (and only) comedy album was met with confusion and disdain. Mainly because his audience knew him to be a soulful musician, NOT an angry Lewis Black-style comic. I’m sure you’ll find some die-hard fans that say it’s his best work, but they just don’t want to accept that their hero miffed.

It happens.

RATING: 1/5

BEST TRACKS

”Not ONE Has Been Prosecuted!”

The Differences Between Bankers And Middle Class Families”

“Self-Titled” (2013)

Magic. A return to form that felt new and alive. If you haven’t heard this album, stop what you’re doing and download it NOW. Not tomorrow. Not when it’s convienent. NOW!

RATING: 5/5

BEST TRACKS

The Census Bureau Report On Income And Poverty In The US 1988-2013″

Sanders of the River

Sanders of the River

Mr. Commissioner Sanders had graduated to West Central Africa by such easy stages that he did not realise when his acquaintance with the back lands began. Long before he was called upon by the British Government to keep a watchful eye upon some quarter of a million cannibal folk, who ten years before had regarded white men as we regard the unicorn; he had met the Basuto, the Zulu, the Fingo, the Pondo, Matabele, Mashona, Barotse, Hottentot, and Bechuana. Then curiosity and interest took him westward and northward, and he met the Angola folk, then northward to the Congo, westward to the Masai, and finally, by way of the Pigmy people, he came to his own land. Now, there is a subtle difference between all these races, a difference that only such men as Sanders know. It is not necessarily a variety of colour, though some are brown and some yellow, and some a very few jet black. The difference is in character. By Sanders’ code you trusted all natives up to the same point, as you trust children, with a few notable exceptions. The Zulu were men, the Basuto were men, yet childlike in their grave faith. The black men who wore the fez were subtle, but trustworthy; but the browny men of the Gold Coast, who talked English, wore European clothing, and called one another “Mr,” were Sanders’ pet abomination.

John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, Kevin McCarthy & Bernie Sanders Read ‘Mean Tweets’

What does Speaker of the House John Boehner have to promise his constituents to keep getting reelected? What new job should House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi try? Who does Sen. Bernie Sanders most resemble? And what does Rep. Kevin McCarthy really need to do?

In the spirit of late night host Jimmy Kimmel’s recurring “Mean Tweets” segment, some of the nation’s top lawmakers read mean tweets about themselves for the 2015 Radio & Television Correspondents Association Dinner, held Wednesday night — and the results are priceless.

Check it out in the clip above.
